No. 7 Shoulder
Model shown in African Blackwood
Meet the No. 7
This was the closest reproduction to an original plane. I always loved the Norris No.7 shoulder, so this was an early priority plane to make. When you are fitting joints – nothing beats a good shoulder plan to sneak up on the fit. Over time, I ended up make 5 different sizes – from the largest at 1-1/2” wide to the smallest at ½” wide and everything in between. They were scaled in width only – something I would deviate from with the k-series shoulder planes.
