overkill window sils

Ok. I know this is totally overkill. I am using 7/4 white oak for the exterior window sils on the TV room. Here is an end view of one of the boards. They are 6-1/4" wide and 8', 12' and 14' respectively. I am cutting a deep rabbet on the back so it will fit over the framing. The first cut is already done and the second is marked with dark pencil. The beveled edge was done with a circular saw and worked quite well. This shot was taken right after it was cleaned up.
